Over the past decade, the International Heritage Tourism Conclave (IHTC) has evolved into one of India’s flagship platforms for policy dialogue and industry collaboration in heritage tourism. Since its inception in 2011, the Conclave has been hosted across iconic heritage destinations including Delhi, Jaipur, Khajuraho, Ahmedabad, Mussoorie, Gwalior, Panchkula, Shimla, Jodhpur, Indore and Vadodara – consistently driving conversations around cultural preservation and sustainable tourism.
The 15th edition is being organized at a time when heritage tourism is emerging as a key growth driver within India’s tourism economy, contributing to increased domestic travel, employment generation and cultural diplomacy.
The conclave will bring together key stakeholders from government, tourism boards, heritage institutions and industry to discuss actionable strategies for promoting sustainable heritage tourism.
