Tourism & Hospitality Committee of PHDCCI organized its 14th webinar under Border Tourism Webinar Series on 17 December 2021 focusing on Dhalai district for the promotion of Border Tourism in Tripura. The programme was supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
The webinar was graced by Mr. S. S. Dev Barman, Regional Director, Indiatourism North East; Mr. Rama Kamaraju, Senior Consultant– Aspirational Districts Programme, NITI Aayog; Mr. Arun Kumar Verma, Second-in-Command (G)– Tripura Frontier, Border Security Force; Mr. Soumen Dutta, State In-Charge– Tripura, Indian Association of Tour Operators; and Mr. Kanti Deb, President, All Tripura Hotel & Restaurant Owner’s Association.
PHDCCI was represented by Mr. Pawan S. Jain, Chair– Tourism & Hospitality Committee; Mr. Rajan Sehgal, Co-Chair– Tourism & Hospitality Committee; Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General and Dr. Yogesh Srivastav, Assistant Secretary General.
The webinar received participation of more than 100 delegates including senior government officials, travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, tour guides, airline professionals, travel associations and students from the travel and hospitality institutes.
